Summer begins in April this year thanks to Furious 7, the latest installment in a franchise that shows no signs of slowing down. Obviously, the untimely death of Paul Walker will make the film's inevitable success bittersweet. Yet global adoration will also serve as a fine tribute to Walker. Furious 7 promises to be the most successful installment yet.

Furious 7
(Universal)

 PROS:

- The combined social media power of Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez is a huge asset.
- Adding Jason Statham to the mix will only please fans of action flicks even more.
- One glance at April's release schedule and its clear that other studios are avoiding direct competition when possible.
- This franchise knows how to please its fans, and reactions to the trailers, posters, etc. are very positive

CONS:

- The only negative thing we can think of is that Avengers: Age of Ultron opens on May 1 and that will stop Furious 7's staying power.
